Reading has always been my passion (especially with a giant iced coffee!), my great escape, my happiness, and more than just my hobby! Hi, everyone! My name is Jess, and I reside in sunny Florida, and besides being a bibliophile and grammarian, I am first and foremost a proud wife to an amazing husband, and a mama to 3 beautiful children (and a bonus daughter); I spent 13 years as a 911 Public Safety Dispatcher, and then "retired" when I had my first daughter in 2019. Since then, we've had another amazing daughter, and a son. I spent over a year as a Prison Library Supervisor and Library Technical Assistant, for our county Correctional Institution. I learned so much more than I thought I already knew, including General Library, Law Library, and also became a member of the American Library Association. The Library of Congress site has also been a huge help! I read, I've dabbled in writing as well, I review, I'm in several book clubs, and have some big plans for this site! I have reached out to some authors that I'm hoping to, in the future, be able to do a live Q&A / meet and greet, and fingers crossed, I also hope to open a gently used book store.
